Sydney's Personal RAM Story

We love to hear stories from our members as they attend clinics! Another member of our chapter, Sydney Williams, attended the RAM Clinic hosted by Emporia, this past summer. Here are some words about her experience in Emporia: 
“Nothing is like your first RAM Clinic. The rush of running patients to and fro, learning how to set up dental chairs, all the while meeting countless new people- its exhilarating! On my first day, my mom and I worked together to set up the dental chair she and supplies (it’s definitely something we had never done before!). During the clinic days, I primarily guided patients from one station to the next as a runner and heard countless stories about the hardships that people underwent to come to the clinic. They were willing to do anything to get the care they so desperately needed. I never realized how fortunate I am, and I’ve never felt more determined to help those in these underserved areas! I highly recommend attending a RAM clinic as its a truly miraculous and humbling experience!”
