Why RAM? "Growing up, I saw how a profound wealth gap translated into equally profound disparities in healthcare access. Understanding that these disparities are not just distant problems but realities within my own community motivated me to be a part of RAM@UVA. Since joining, this organization has undoubtedly been one of the most meaningful parts of my undergraduate experience, and I am grateful to serve alongside individuals who are deeply motivated and united by a shared belief in the kind of community RAM creates--one built on compassion and a relentless drive to reduce barriers to healthcare." |

Outside involvements/hobbies: UVA Club Field Hockey, Undergraduate Research Assistant, Madison House Volunteering, Reading, Listening to music, Traveling!
Why RAM? "I originally joined RAM because I wanted to connect with other pre-med undergraduates and gain more experience interacting with patients and providers. However, after volunteering at my first clinic I realized the importance of RAM’s clinics in an era of decreased healthcare accessibility. The gap in healthcare inequality is actively increasing, and it is my goal to use the privilege I have as someone who has healthcare insurance to help those who cannot afford the care they need." |

Major: Chemical Engineering Hometown: Bangkok, Thailand |
Outside involvements: First Year Players Cast & Publicity Committee Member, Honor Committee Advisor, Student Council Academic Affairs Committee Member.
Why RAM? "During a summer break in high school, I worked at a public hospital serving the elderly in rural Thailand. Through this experience, I developed a strong belief in making healthcare accessible to marginalized communities. I learned a lot from the patients that I worked with, and it was a fulfilling experience to be able to help provide healthcare to those that do not always have the means to pay for it. RAM perfectly matched this experience, and allows me to keep working towards this passion!" |
